At Northolt Ballet School in North Ealing we offer ballet, creative movement and tap dance classes for children aged 2.5+. Classes are held after school during term time on Mondays and Thursdays in the Dance Studio at Alec Reed Academy.

Miss Charis
Welcome to Northolt Ballet School! With teacher training qualifications from esteemed institutions such as the Royal Academy of Dance, Royal Ballet School and Rambert Grades, and an undergraduate degree in classical ballet and contemporary dance, I have dedicated myself to dance and teaching. At Northolt Ballet School I aim to offer exciting and enriching classes for all our students, providing opportunity to build skills and confidence in a welcoming environment.
Classes
Ballet Bunnies
In our Ballet Bunnies class, preschool and nursery aged children take their first steps into the magical world of ballet, exploring and developing age-appropriate skills through imagination, storytelling and play.
Pre-Primary and Primary Ballet
Through reception to year 3 students explore ballet and movement through the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, while developing their physical, creative and cognitive skills. At this level, ballet supports children develop important life skills like strength, social awareness and memory.
As an introduction to the magical world of ballet, our preschool class caters for ages 2.5 to 4.5 years old. This class focuses on developing coordination, rhythm and confidence through imagination and play based learning.
RAD Graded Ballet
Students aged 7+ begin progressing through the Royal Academy of Dance grades, with the opportunity to take examinations. The syllabus provides a framework for progression as dancers learn to incorporate artistry and musicality into their dancing.
Tap Dance
Our supplementary tap dance classes for primary school students (reception to year 6) develop dancers’ rhythm and musicality, and promotes versatility and adaptability as they learn to move in different ways.
